(customize according to your needs)
"The Loop" Saguaro National Park
Known as the loop, this road in the middle of a cactus forest will enchant you. You can decide how many rounds you want to perform. Perfect to start the week and warm up your legs.
Kitt Peak observatory
A 20km climb awaits you and it will take you to one of the largest observatories in North America. The view at the top of this mountain considered sacred is spectacular. It only remains to go down for a maximum of pleasure. There are some options to lengthen the ride for the more adventurous.
Gates Pass and McCain Loop
This route takes place west of Tucson. Several points of view will allow you to take a look to the east and west of the city. You will also pass by the "Old Tucson" and its desert museum. Again, several options are available to lengthen the route as needed.
Madera Canyon
If you want to train like the Arizona Tour pros, the Madera Canyon itinerary is for you. Starting from Tucson, you will complete a loop of about 100km. Be careful to manage your energy, the ascent of the Canyon is very steep and can approach 15% inclination.
Mont Lemmon
Recognized as one of the most distinct and challenging climbs in the world, the climb to Mount Lemmon will surely bring you strong emotions. It is said that Lance Armstrong, deposed king of the Tour de France, rented a chalet at the top of the mountain during the winter to finish his training days by this crazy climb of 43km. You will certainly notice the change of temperature and vegetation during your effort. The descent can not be described otherwise than by pure happiness.
Free day
We suggest you visit one of the places you could not cover during your stay. Choose between Agua Caliente Park or Sabino Canyon for example or enjoy the day to simply relax. Did you know that Arizona is also recognized as one of the best states for mountain biking. We strongly suggest you try it if your legs allow you. Do not hesitate to ask us for suggestions.
